60’s Fender Deluxe 8-String Lap Steel

This 60’s Fender Deluxe 8-String Lap Steel in original Blonde finish is very clean! The 8-string version of this is somewhat rare & coveted, as most examples are six. No modifications or repairs, this is an excellent example. All hardware (including pickup) appears original- with only minor signs of wear. Dating these can be a bit tricky- the serial # (located on the bridge plate- under the pickup cover) is not very specific or helpful in this regard. Based on features it is clear that this is an early 60’s example- the finish, style knobs, and the original Brown hardshell case (professionally reupholstered).
