Late 60’s Hagstom HB-8 Bass

$1,895.00

Played by Jimi Hendrix, John Paul Jones, Noel Redding (to name a few) this Late 60’s Hagstom HB-8 Bass is a rare find! Quirky? YES. But also surprisingly useful, the sound it produces is full and round. No repairs or modifications to this- save for a pro-replaced bone nut. All switches function and all electronics appear to be original. Nut width= 1.63″ and with a 30″ scale , the neck is very comfortable and has what we’d call a 60’s “C” profile. Frets appear original and are not tall- but they likely never were! Neck is nice and straight and action is very low and comfortable -it plays great! Weighs in at only 7lbs 6 oz! The bridge and saddles (all related hardware) appear original and function really well!
