2016 Gibson R8 Les Paul

2016 Gibson R8 Les Paul in excellent, all original condition! Darkburst lacquer finish is very clean showing only some slight finish wear/swirling. Maple top exhibits very nice figuring/flame. All original nickel hardware is only starting to develop a very nice, natural patina. Lightweight- at only 8 lbs, 14 0z! These 1960 RI’s tend to have pretty beefy necks- this one is no exception. Nut width= 1.67″, and the thickness at the 1st fret= .92″ and at the 12th= 1.0″! There is some “binding bleed” present, as most of these seem to suffer from. No signs of fretwear! Very clean and plays great, with low action and a very straight neck.
