2008 Gibson Les Paul 295

Here is a rare and unusual instrument, from a series in 2008 known as “the guitar of the month”, which included some very interesting details! This 2008 Gibson Les Paul 295 Goldtop is a mash-up of an ES-295 and a solid  body Les Paul! The first we’ve ever seen, this is # 254 of only 1000 made and it’s in mint condition! All original, the top is showroom clean! The back does show some light (buckle?) wear on the body in the center. The frets are like new showing no sign of wear. The nut width= 1.70″ and the neck is a very chunky ‘C’, measuring thickness at the 1st=.81″ and at the 12th=.97″!! The back features a very nice lightweight (only 8 lbs, 14 oz) 2-piece mahogany back. Pickups are ’57 Classics, and they are original along with all of the rest of the harness/electronics! Perfect example for a collector, although its a blast to play!
