Victoria Victorilux

Here we have a very clean (Used) Victoria Victorilux in its original Brown tolex with wheat grill cloth-a favorite color way! This examples date of birth is unknown, but based on the condition and speaker we’d estimate it to be an early 2000’s. This is the 1 x 12″ combo version, it is loaded with its original ceramic OEM speaker. This also has a full spring reverb tank. The tremolo circuit is to die for- this is truly a “do it all” combo and it does it all incredibly well! We are big fans of all of Victoria’s stuff! Hardwired using all of the premium components.

In 2001, I finally relented, and we began to build amps with reverb and tremolo. The response to the introduction of the Victoriette and Victorilux by our customers and reviewers has been overwhelming, but not merely because we know how to do reverb and trem. Granted, we researched many of the classic circuits, lifting some of Leo’s genius from the brown and blackface era amps. I also indulged in my long-standing appreciation for the EL84 power tube, which I felt had not been given proper attention by companies bent on simply knocking off a Vox.
