Brand New Joe Parker 10 Ton Catastrophe Muff Fuzz!
The 10 Ton Catastrophe is a reproduction of a particular vintage triangle muff. To capture the particular tone of that unit, I approximated the drifted values of key components and used NOS ‘glob top’ transistors which are lower gain than ones used in modern muffs. A killer muff fuzz resulted, big low end, fine tuned tone stack and plenty of output!
