Benson Preamp Pedal (Strum Edition)

The Benson Preamp Pedal (Strum Edition) has arrived! We’re honored to have a signature version of this legendary pedal, featuring artwork designed by our very own Child-shred prodigy Mae! The preamp pedal offers all of the same features these are famous for- but with added “Slay”. Includes a copy of the original artwork notes submitted to Benson for consideration, a Strum sticker and picks. Each pedal contains a personally written note of inspiration inside- from Mae.

We call this our Preamp because it is! The circuit is based on the our Chimera 30 watt guitar amplifier, but substitutes FET transistors for the vacuum tubes. The result is an extremely amp-like and versatile clean boost/overdrive/fuzz pedal that imparts rich harmonics and a very musical EQ to your signal chain…truly a Chimera in a box!
