This 30’s Martin C-1 Archtop has THE mojo!! Played/recorded by Marc Ribot on “High Above the Ground) (recorded here in Portland) this has all the character we dream about pre-war Martin’s having! SO much fun to play, and seemingly all original, including tailpiece and tuners. Missing the pick guard, no (adjustable) truss rod, but the neck is really straight and although the frets do show some wear(Primarily on the high E string), action is really low and comfortable with room to come down if needed in the future! These are really great arch tops flying under the radar. Nut width=1.76” and the neck profile is a very comfortably worn chunky “C”.
