2020 Fender CS ’50 Pine Esquire CC

We love Esquires! We extra love this 2020 Fender CS ’50 Pine Esquire CC in original Black Nitro with a chunk of a neck! The Pine body Fender’s just seem to have something extra about them. In addition to weighing in at only 6 lbs. 10 oz, this Killer Esquire is a blast to play! 1.65″ nut width and the neck measure in at a whopping . 97″ at the 1st fret and 1″ at the 12th! This is a rift sawn neck, and true to the original’s comes without any truss rod. There is an argument that perhaps these are more resonant with the truss rod? Fretwork is vintage style 4705 (Med vintage) and this has a compound radius, 7.25/9.5 for classic feel and bending ease at the upper frets. Bridge pickup is a Harnwired series 50-51 Blackguard with flat poles and the “full throttle” wiring circuit. Includes an extra neck pickup and separate control assembly you can swap in for more flexibility if you prefer!
