1988-89 Fender CTL-50R Telecaster

Very cool, all original 1988-89 Fender CTL-50R Telecaster in good condition! This is one of the early MIJ ‘not for export’ models and it even includes the original Yen price sticker on the back of the neck! Although all of the hardware, frets, and finish appear to be original and unmodified it does exhibit a lot of overall normal player wear. There are some shadows from stickers that were previously installed- one on the headstock and the back (if you look just right) had several if not many. Original steel barrel Tele saddles, and knobs- and original (full-size!) MIJ pots and switch. Frets exhibit some player wear but still have some comfortable height left making it nice to play. Nut width= 1.68″ and the neck profile is a soft/flat “C”, with thickness at the 1st fret =.85″ and at the 12th fret=.89″. Weighs in at just over 8 lbs. (+ 2 oz)
