1967 Guild X-175 Manhattan

$1,995.00

1967 Guild X-175 Manhattan in original Three-tone Sunburst! This is one is beautiful and in very good shape.  modified for larger pickups at one time, the original vintage HB-1 Humbuckers are back in and sound great. As a part of the modification, a slight gap can be seen (if you look closely) between the previous route and the now original pickups installed. We’ve been inside and can verify the modification work is actually reasonably clean. Nut width = 1/65″, and this was refretted (recently?) with what we’d describe as Vintage Tall frets and they play great! Action is very nice and low and neck is very straight with no humps or fallaway. Tuners were replaced (likely years ago) and there are some old Grovers currently installed (originals are gone). Neck profile is what we’d describe as an Open /Medium “C” with soft (but small) shoulders). Not much taper here in thickness- comes up at .88″ at 1st Fret and .89″ at 9th fret. Original Hoboken, NJ Guild label is present inside and clean. Overall pretty clean with some normal player wear.
