This 1967 Fender Bandmaster Head with “Drip-Edge” appointments is a transition-era amp, with the circuit being faithful to the classic Blackpanel era AB763 in virtually every sense. This example exhibits some normal wear typical of a nearly 60 year old amp! All transformers are original and correct Schumacher’s, dating to mid-67 and as such we’re calling the birth year 1967. Caps have been upgraded (sprague) and there is a new/replacement Power cable. With only 2 other resistors replaced on the board that we can see- it is all original. Cabinet, faceplate, tolex, handle- all original. Fender heads of this era still represent outstanding value compared to their combo-counterparts. Grab a cab of your choice and this is a perfect loud/clean pedal platform good to cover just about any style of music you throw at it!
