1965 Martin 00-18

$3,995.00

1965 Martin 00-18 in very clean and original condition! Very nice example that came in to us locally, from the second owner. The only change/update that we can see is it likely received a new (bone) nut. Everything else appears original with no repairs. No cracks. No modifications. Saddle is down- there is about 1/8″ remaining, so there is still some room to go down in the future- but action is nice and low at the moment with a very straight neck/setup. Nut width= 1.69″. Neck profile is chunky and hints at a “Soft V”, and is very comfortable. At the 1st fret the thickness is .87″, and at the 9th it is .97″. Tuners are original vintage Grover “butterbean” style. Bridge is original and clean with no cracks. Frets show wear- most heavily from the 1st to 7th positions with some divots. Might be a candidate for a future (partial) refret- but it actually plays pretty great in spite of the wear. We’ll let you decide! Finish is pretty clean and shows typical hazing in some areas and checking throughout.

-includes Original Hardshell case (Gold/Yellow/Orange? interior)
