1954 Fender Deluxe

1954 Fender Deluxe in very well played in condition with all the mojo!  We like our Tweeds played. This one has ridiculous character! All of the important items are original- the cabinet, grill, handle, and the Tweed exhibits a lot of wear and has some spots where the bare pine cabinet is peeking through. The speaker is a 1961 (Alnico ) Jensen P12N, and it sounds FANTASTIC. Round, warm and lot of compression. This is a 5D3 circuit, as such it has a tube compliment of (1) 5Y3, (2) 6V6’s and (2) 12ax7’s. Tube chart is present and in good shape- it is date stamped “DG”. Original transformers- a Triad code “6452” and the other is stamped “246”. The lettering on the faceplate has worn off- but we know that there are 2 separate volumes and a tone knob (with 3 inputs). The faceplate exhibits some other wear & scratches- all consistent with the age & overall wear. The speaker lead/jack are newer replacements. The original feet are present and there have been no modifications to the cab (original baffle also).  Electronically she functions great and has been serviced recently. Filter caps are newer Sprague replacements, there have been some other updates on the board- the AC cable is a newer replacement.

Overall a killer original piece at a very fair (players?) price.
