How about a 1947 Martin OO-18 in very clean and original condition! Some updates, professional done- all the useful upgrades players will want. Regretted (with nickel) vintage size wire- likely some time ago, as there is some very light wear showing, primarily on the B string. Plenty of height and action is great! Neck was reset (professionally) and we’d guess at that time the bone Nut and Saddle were also replaced. There is a lot of saddle left! This won’t need any work for quite some time. The Bridge also appears to have been professionally replaced- although the original is included. The pick guard appears original, but a faint outline surrounding it (only visible via blacklight) would suggest it was likely glued down in the past. The Tuners on it are vintage correct replacements that did not require any modification- but the originals are included. No cracks or headstock repairs! This is that wonderfully “Dry” vintage Martin character we are all searching for. Neck profile shows a very soft “V” with a decent amount of taper. Nut width= 1.67″, and at the 1rst fret thickness= .85″ and at the 9th= 1.05″. And of course it’s featherweight! Scalloped braces all appear original and are very clean with no signs of wear.
