This 1926 Martin 0-18 is in incredible condition considering it is just under 100-years old! Sat in a closet for over 35 years unplayed. This is a no-excuses Pre-war Martin that would round-out any collection! These are more commonly found in very sad condition, with extensive repairs or restoration still necessary. This example is VERY clean with the only changes being a refret, with a new saddle and a new nut. The nut width is 1 7/8″ and it’s a chunk with a soft “V” Profile. Very comfortable and smooth. Original 1/4″ scalloped braces, Spruce top with Mahogany back/sides. 24.9″ scale length.Ebony pyramid-style Bridge is original although there is some evidence that would indicate it was regaled at some point during its history. Action is very low and comfortable and neck sets up very straight. This instrument is extremely resonant and projects big volume for its size! Tuners appear original, there are no signs of any cracks or repairs!
