This 1927 Gibson F-2 Mandolin is a real piece of history! All original, and very clean for a 104 instrument. It’s rare to find examples as nice as this, that have not had modifications or repairs to them. The inlay work is spectacular, the flame maple back is gorgeous. Tuners and all hardware, pick guard, bridge appear to be original and in very clean shape. Recently set up, the action is nice and low with a neck that sets up quite straight. And the sound is just what you’d expect- warm, woody and resonant.
