2018 Carson Hess Telecaster Custom

This 2018 Carson Hess Telecaster Custom build is our favorite guitar in the shop. Carson is building the most amazing replica’s, in our opinion. This is the first Tele Custom build we’ve seen, it’s incredible. Finished in all nitro, the Shell Pink shows really nice, tasteful- relicing/checking throughout the body. And it’s lightweight (especially for a T Custom) coming in right at 7 lbs. The hardware all shows a very nice aging/patina- and the pickups are original Don Mare “Super Sports”- considered by many to be among the best & most accurate Tele pickups you can buy (although he has semi-retired). The neck is a really chunky C (1″ all the way) dark rosewood with very nice clay style dots. Fingerboard radius is 9.5″ and this has vintage tall style frets. Neck is dead on straight and sets up with very low action. “F” style logo installed. Saddles are 60’s style Glendale.
