1980 Gibson J-50

1980 Gibson J-50 in excellent and (mostly) original condition! An excellent value for an almost 50 year old US Made Gibson dreadnaught! With a solid spruce top and mahogany back/sides this is a real workhorse. Added LR Bags pickup makes it gig-ready! Nut width=1.68″, neck profile is typical late 70’s/80’s slim/medium, thickness at the 1st fret= .84″ and at the 9th fret= .94″. Original frets have a lot of life left and playability is very comfortable. No previous repairs or neck resets. We wouldn’t try to claim there is a great amount of saddle left- the action is currently very nice and this isn’t currently in need of any reset. Original tuners!
