1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb

Here’s one for the collectors- this 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb is a very clean & original example! An icon for very good reason. When these are good they are magical. It’s getting harder to find clean & unmodified examples. This one, save for a few functional updates- has everything you want/need. The cabinet is very clean and completely original, including the grill, baffle and all back panels. Tube chart is present- this is of course the AB763 circuit, and the date code on it is “OI” (for 1965). Chassis code also dates this to 1965. The original (Oxford) speaker has a date code of 465512 and sounds strong, it is FMI branded (Blue label). All transformers are original/correct Schumacher’s: 606513,  606447, 606511, and 606526. Filter caps have been upgraded/updated with Sprague- and there are a handful of other functional updates on the board- but it still retains some of the original Blue Astron’s and carbon comp resistors. The AC cord is a newer replacement.

-Also fun/unique- the original sales receipt (from OCT ’65) is included, and it’s worth noting the new price was $249.08!!
