2018 Thompson OOO-14 BA Custom

This 2018 Thompson OOO-14 BA Custom in likely the most beautiful acoustic we’ve ever had here at the shop. Thompson guitars are already at the top of the top….craftsmanship, detail work, build quality. Add to that this custom ordered OOO with Brazilian back & Sides in Tobacco sunburst shade top, and you have something really special. This example is very clean, no modifications or repairs. The only sign of wear we can find is on the treble frets in lower positions. Very light signs of play/wear there, the body & finish everywhere else should be considered “MINT”. This is a wonderful resonant 14-fret, 24.9″ Short scale, nut width- 1 3/4″. Neck profile is a very comfortable medium “Soft V”, measuring .84″ at the 1st fret and tapering to thicken only slightly to .90″ at the 9th fret. The top is Adirondack Spruce, and braces are “pre-war” scalloped style. Tuning machines are waverly.
