2018 Marshall 1962 “Bluesbreaker” Combo

2018 Marshall 1962 “Bluesbreaker” Combo in excellent original condition! This beauty is a reissue of the classic Marshall JTM45 setup/sound, but in a 2 x 12″ combo format, loaded with (2) Celestion Greenbacks! This particular Marshall was previously owned and used for touring/recording by Paul Gilbert! This was featured prominently on his “Behold Electric Guitar” album. We’d consider it original and unmodified, although it did receive some service from local tech Trevor at Arcane amps to make it more reliable/roadworthy. There is a smallish ding in the top center of the cab that can be seen in the pictures- otherwise it’s in excellent condition and (of course) sounds amazing.

John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers playing with Eric Clapton is what gave the 1962 ‘Bluesbreaker’^® its name. This 2×12” combo reissue has the legendary deep blues tone created by the GZ34 valve rectifier, similar to the JTM45. However, with two re-issued Celestion Greenback speakers it’s sonic characteristics differentiate it and give it that recognisable sound. This 30W classic may not shout the loudest but its vintage tone means its personality stands out from the crowd.
