1978 Mesa Boogie Mk 1

This (early!) 1978 Mesa Boogie Mk 1 was just serviced and it sounds incredible. Perhaps the simplest of Randall’s designs, The Mk 1 (with Reverb) and no slider eq is as straightforward and raw a Boogie as you can find. Switchable between 60 and 100 watts and this will redecorate your room it’s so LOUD. No joke. But you might be surprised that it sounds outstanding even at lower volumes! The back panel is labeled very old school, and the chassis is signed by Randall Smith. Speaker is a 12″ JBL K120 (likely/possibly original) and it sounds perfect for this amp- although most commonly seen with an EV. Includes the original ordering/spec sheet from Boogie outlining pricing and options that were available for this model. All transformers/Iron appear original! This would be an incredible addition for any collector- but it could/should also be played out and used and it would a dependable workhorse capable of covering a variety of sounds/style from crystal clean to screaming leads.
