Here is a beautiful, top of the line 1976 Guild Artist Award 17″ arch top! Built in Westerly, RI- this features all of the nicest appointments- double-bound, beautiful inlay work, the finest most figured materials. The top is solid carved Spruce. The back & sides feature highly flamed maple! The only change we can find is a recent refret- so the frets are tall, clean and this plays perfectly! Original Grover Imperial tuners, nut width= 1.73″. The neck profile is a slender 60’s “C”, thickness at the 1st fret= .86″ and at the 9th fret=.92″. The floating DeArmond Rhythm Chief pickup sounds fat and warm!
