1966 Mosrite Ventures

1966 Mosrite Ventures in very clean and original condition! Three tone sunburst is still quite vibrant. This one came to us with virtually no frets left, so we gave it a pro-refret with Stew Mac “medium/medium” 148 wire (.084 x .039) so now it plays perfectly! Fretboard radias is 7.25″, and this weighs in at about 8.5 lbs. Nut width=1.63″, and she’s a pretty thin neck. All electronics including pickups appear original and untouched, pots both date to 1966, and tuners are original Kluson Deluxe. Condition overall is quite good, there is some wear around the edges of the headstock in places- and at the neck pocket. But overall a solid 8/10. Pickups sound huge! Massive output and the EQ on them is fat and round! There may have been some foul play with the pickguard at a very small section where it meets the body at the neck pocket- or it’s just shrinking/popping up a little bit. All hardware and tremolo are original and very clean and functioning 100 %.
