1966 Epiphone Olympic Double

$1,595.00

This featherweight 1966 Epiphone Olympic Double in original Cherry Nitro is a real stunner! Excellent all original condition, this double single coil setup is Epiphone’s answer to the Melody Maker. Nut width= 1.58″, neck profile is a medium “C” shape, 1st fret width= .87″ and at the 12th= 1.02″ so there is a lot of taper to it! Original Kluson tuners, Nut and all hardware, including pickups and pots (wiring harness appears to be untouched). There is one pot that we can read codes off (a Centralab, dating to 1966). The action sets up great with a very straight neck. No neck breaks or repairs, but visible only via backlighting suggests that there was some lacquer touch up in the heel/neck joint. There is no evidence of any break or repair, however- and the joint is very tight and clean.
