1965 Fender Jaguar

$9,995.00

1965 Fender Jaguar in original Candy Apple Red!! Yes that’s right- a highly collectible Fender Custom Color with the right amount of mojo that you can actually play without being terrified! Lightweight at just 8 lbs, 3.5 oz. Neck is stamped Sep 1965, the bridge has been swapped for what appears to be a vintage Mustang style (original bridge is not included) and that sets up really nicely on this. Neck is very nice and straight- appears to have been regretted, and they were tucked into the original binding. The back of the neck exhibits a lot of wear (along with the headstock) and at some point someone likely removed most of the finish on the back- so it’s very smooth and comfortable in hand. Nut width= 1.60″ Electronics all appear original, pots are stockpoles dating to 1965. There is a small newer jumper added/replaced off the 1 meg volume- otherwise we believe it’s all original in that department- including pickups, switches, pickguard, etc.

-There is a soft rubber pad that was installed to the back. We’re not taking it off- that can be your assignment should you choose! The original finish can be seen below it, but it seems clear that removing it will likely make an impact to the finish, unless you have a secret we don’t. We’re fine with it and the character it adds!

-Includes OHSC (Black with Orange lining, no logo), no tremolo bar
