Here is one lovely and original 1963 Gibson B-45-12 in Cherry Sunburst! Rarely seen, and certainly much less so in this kind of condition and playability! This is the ‘fixed’ bridge version (vs floating) and as such it really projects a lot of volume & warmth! Favored by artists like Gordon Lightfoot and you’ll see why when you strike your first open chord and hear how it sings! Nut width- 2.02″ so it’s some wide real estate but the action is really nice and low, showing a nice amount off saddle present for future downward adjustment should it be needed- there is evidence of a very old neck reset. This appears to have the original frets and they are in very good, very comfortably playable shape! With the width of this neck you expect a narrow flat “C” neck profile shape, and it’s actually pretty comfortable to play! There was a (unknown brand) piezo pickup added (beneath the bridge plate/saddle) that works great so this is gig/recording ready! The original bridge also appears to have been reset sometime during its history and it is holding strong now!
