Here is a very lovely players grade 1957 Gibson LG-1 that has had some work, but retains its original (and vibrant) Sunburst! This late 50’s example still has a great chunk of a neck- thickness at the 1st fret=.92″ and at the 12th=1.00″ with a nut width of 1.69″. Body is crack-free! Neck has been reset, and as a result the action is great and there is plenty of nut left for future adjustment. Tuners have been replaced with a modern vintage-style that retains the same footprint as the originals. Bridge appears to be original but has been reglued. Pickguard is a modern replacement, professionally installed. Finally, this has a K & K endpin style jack system installed, so it’s gig-ready!
