1949 Fender Custom Triple 8 Console Steel

1949 Fender Custom Triple 8 Console Steel in good condition! Early Fender console, precursor to the “Custom” model by a couple years. Original Blonde (Nocaster style!) Nitro finish that has worn quite beautifully. From what we can tell most of the hardware is original and correct with the  exception of the  fingerboards, which appear to be very accurate reproductions.  The pots (1949 Stackpole) are original, as well as the switches, pickups and electronics. Plays and sounds great. Believed to be the same model used on Santo & Johnny’s “Sleepwalk”! Real Fender history.
