This 1940’s Gibson ES-300 in original Two-tone sunburst is a players special, with a few changes. All work was done locally/professionally: refinished back of neck (including the headstock), which did not alter the profile. Nut width- 1.75″, and the shape is chunky “C”. The finish work was done in nitro and is top notch, blended very nicely with the existing original finish. There is also a patch on the side of the body where there the input jack sits, where there was once a metal plate. The patched section is mahogany and is really difficult to detect unless you look really closely. Again, top notch pro work. The tailpiece (which appears original) has a repair at the hinge section that comes across the top edge of the body. Tuners appear original, the P90, knobs and other hardware all appear original. Neck is nice and straight and action sets up really comfortable. Get yourself some old wood at a discounted price!
