1933 Epiphone Zenith
$2,195.00
This 1933 Epiphone Zenith arch top is a really rare find. All original with no cracks or repairs- aside from a refret. NY manufactured, the serial # for this one lands in most resources as a 1934- but in 1934 these transition to a larger body size (this one is 13 5/8″) so we’re going to call this a 1933-34 transition. Neck shape is not a massive as one might expect- it is a very comfortable Medium “C” with a soft “V” profile. Nut width is 1.72″ and the action is setup really low since it was refretted. The work was very good, and the frets are likely very close to original spec- if not perhaps slightly wider. Tuners appear original and turn well. This example would serve an Epiphone collector well, as clean as it is- but it plays great and it would be shame to just hang it on the wall!
-Includes a vintage Gibson Chip Case (that fits very well)
