This 1930’s era Washburn Style 5200 is the classic Turn of the Century Parlour style presentation. LOTS of character- exhibits plenty of natural player wear- but nothing abusive. The sound is open, immediate and woody. Everything you’d want a parlour from this era to be! Nut wdith= 1.73″, and the neck profile is a typical “V” seen during this era. Thickness at the 1st fret=.91″ and at the 9th fret= 1.02″. On the large side but nonetheless very comfortable. Frets appear original and show wear, but this plays very well with action set at a very comfortably low range. Neck and bridge sets appear to be original. Original label is present, indicating manufacture in Chicago.
