Late 60’s Martin D-35

Late 60’s Martin D-35 in excellent condition! This is a 2-owner guitar, includes the receipt of purchase (used) from the second owner in 1971 in NY. This was likely made for a Martin employee at the time, as there is no serial # stamp although the model is stamped on the block. This was not unusual at the time- another possibility is it was considered a factory “2nd” and thus wasn’t intended to retail out. Either way it’s a phenomenal instrument with a very nice spruce top and lots of Brazilian rosewood! Back is 3-piece, the pickguard was replaced, and there has been a minor repair to the bridge plate- the end pin holes were getting to large to stick. The bridge plate does appear to be original and intact however. Neck set angle looks good, does not appear to have a reset but there is some saddle left and it should be good still for quite some time! There is a stable (uncleared) top crack that has had glue flowed in, but as we understand it- that has been there for quite some time and has not moved or opened up.
