1966 Gibson Melody Maker

$2,195.00

1966 Gibson Melody Maker in original Pelham Blue faded to Green! Excellent condition, all original! Dark Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, big chunk of a neck “C” neck that is super comfortable to play, original frets (we believe) in good condition. This is a single pickup rock & Roll machine! Wiring harness, pots, and pickup-including shielding plate) all appear original and intact. Featherweight and balances nicely. This is the coolest of the cool in the Gibson custom color palette and original instruments in this color don’t come around often.

Please note: There is a crack at the upper shoulder/cutaway that is not structural (this is visible in the photo). On both sides (at the back) of the control cavity there are 2 cracks that do not continue or meet across the top- they are stable and not moving and there is no evidence of any previous repairs there or anywhere else on the instrument.

Neck Thickness at 1st Fret= .90″.  at 12th Fret= 1.08″
