1930’s (Gibson) Carson Robison

This Late 1930’s Carson Robison is a rare-bird! These were produced by Gibson in Kalamazoo and offered only through Montgomery Ward’s. Carson was a singing cowboy of some notoriety during the era. You can consider this little blues machine a ladder-braced Gibson LO. This one sports a chunky V-profile neck, very common for the era. This one is in very good condition with no repairs or ¬†changes to note- it may have been refretted during its life- as the action is quite low and is a very nice player. Very punchy in the mid and a unique piece that will get lots of attention!
