Two Pacific Northwest acoustic guitarists unite to create an adventuresome improvisational landscape within the canon of traditional flatpicking guitar music. Though Jamie Stillway and Eric Skye are both regarded in the world of fingerstyle guitar as masters of their craft, they have teamed up to make two albums of worth original and traditional flatpicking tunes. “Home on the Midrange” showcases original music in a traditional style, while “Over The Waterfall” is about reverence for the standard repertoire in the old-time fiddle tune world.
